Goff needs to man up in these types of games...but instead looks like a deer in headlights overthrowing WR's and not making the throws as needed.... Either Mcvay get's his shit together with the pass happy play-calling or 1 and done again in the playoffs.

He has what I call Jason Campbell syndrome. He stares down the WR he wants to throw it to and then throws it to that very person, allowing the DBs time to read his eyes and get to where they need to go.

Playoff football is a different animal. This is the kind of D you have to make plays on in the playoffs

Yep and sad to say.... i don't see this team making it far, Rams need to play lights out football and forget the bye week as it's clear they don't possess the mental toughness to make the plays needed against a good defense. Goff looks afraid.

Terrible play and terrible game plan for the defense they were facing.

McVay has a bit of Martz in him, thinking he is the genius and he will show you how it's done even when common sense tells everyone else to take what the defense gives you and run the football to open up the passing game, not the other way around
