Well, after two underwhelming victories to reclaim a .500 record. Minnesota losing in Seattle on MNF would keep our path to the post-season open and not all that complex.

Of course, the biggest issue is that they have to beat four teams currently in possession of a playoff spot. Ha! But I'm still here for it. There's no first round pick to tank for.

Both teams at 6-6 and seriously underwhelming compared to their pre-season expectations. Both fan-bases very restless over coaching, front office and various personnel situations.

Obviously, Dallas gets to play in the NFC East. So, they're all alone in first place (despite zero wins vs teams with a winning record). While we cling to our playoff lives.

Both teams have been bumslayers (outside of our one respectable win vs MIN). Both have issues. Dallas is currently favored by 3 points.

Weather should be too much of a factor. Game-time temps in the 30's. Rather mild for December.

I don't know. We probably lose but I also expect us to have a shot. Depends on how much our offense shoots themselves in the foot.

No reason to pick the Bears to win. But there's not much of a reason to pick Dallas to do anything right now either.

Bears, 52-10.

Jerry Jones comes out after the game as a pansexual for anyone but Jason Garrett.

Akiem Hicks is back at practice. If he was eligible to play here I would actually feel optimistic about our chances. Need to win if he's going to play anything resembling a meaningful snap.

I give us about a 50/50 chance of winning. Dallas isn’t anything special on offense or defense. At home, I think our defense can contain their offense. Offensively, I think we are good enough to put up a few tds against their defense. The only thing standing in our way is play calling. After Dallas we really only have one more winnable game in my opinion, and that’s the Vikings at the end of the year.

We can't score...until that changes, we can lose to anyone, anywhere, any time. This game is no different. 90% of our games over the past year have been the same story...Pray the opponent doesn't get to 20 or we lose. And we may lose even if they score less.
I'll grin and bear it as always...but it's so f*cking tiring.

(Probably just repaste this for all gamethreads hereforward...as it will apply at least until next season...probably longer...)

This one is too close to call. Both teams are not playing up to preseason expectations. I think it's going to come down to whether or not we contain their running game to a reasonable level and if Trubisky can play close to as well as he played on T-Day. Obviously neither scenario is a given.

I mean...I'd love to think we can beat Dallas, because they are a f*cking average, beatable team...but we can't...f*cking...score. So yeah...

Green Bay is much more beatable than the Vikings at this point. IMO. They have like a +30 point differential. Really haven't been anything special.

Meh. I’d rather play the Vikings when Aaron Rodgers is still the packers QB. I am aware the Vikings probably have a better team outside of QB, but Kirk cousins has just as much of a chance to blow it as Aaron Rodgers has of single handedly winning it for Green Bay.

I want to agree with this...because I do think Minny is better than the Cheeseheads...but let's face it...We're like 3 for the decade vs the Packers, so it's hard to argue the Minny game is more of a challenge for us.

I don't really get into the whole "we can't beat this team because they wear the same uniforms as totally different teams from past years" thing.

Green Bay is just an above average to decent football team. Who stole a game from Detroit thanks to two phantom calls and barely escaped at home. Lost to Philly and LAC. Got to face KC sans Mahomes. Beat Carolina by one yard.

Minny is genuinely playing really good football. (Secondary is a bit of an issue)

GB's defense is brutal and Rodgers decline isn't just speculation. It's impossible to ignore.

True. And we've really had their number the past two seasons. Not only are we 3 for 3 in beating Kirk. But in each game Kirk was so bad that it literally forced a national media frenzy of "Kirk is a fraud and the signing was a mistake".

We've headed in two different directions since our last meeting but there still is something to be said for that.

Rodgers is on pace for over 4000 yards passing this season...He's got 2 f*cking picks in 413 passes.

If a Bears QB did that, we'd have him HOF bound...while Rodgers is "declining."

I wouldn't bet the house on us when we play in Lambeau if I were you...

Seems like were starting to find our offense, I know it was bad teams we beat but the play calling was better and Trubisky is gaining confidence. Sea or Minny who wins don't much matter as were chasing both for a WC. If we get decent blocking I think we win. Were desperate and Dallas is not.

You’re a complete moron if you want minny to win tonight. We need the Vikings to lose if we want any chance at getting into the playoffs. If the Vikings win tonight, you can pretty much kiss whatever tiny playoff hopes we had goodbye.

Why? Both MN and Sea need to lose. Either one helps us. Are you retarded?

The Seahawks are 9-2. The Vikings are 8-3. If the Seahawks lose, both teams are 9-3 and we are no closer to the playoffs, since we would be three games behind both teams. If the Vikings lose, they are 8-4. In this scenario, we would be 2 games behind the Vikings. We also have another game against the Vikings, giving us control in getting into the playoffs. Like I said, you’re a fucking moron. I can’t believe I had to explain that to you. You are really losing it, man.

And only 1 team needs to drop out to make room. We also need the rams to lose.

There's two wild card spots dude. Minny is 8-3. Seattle is 9-2. They hold each of them.

Not only are we closer to Minny in record but we also still play them head-to-head and have already beat them. We also have a better divisional record and hold the tie breaker over them.

It's slightly impossible to fathom how you arrived at these conclusions. This is the stuff I'm talking about with you Nooner. Come on.
