Game Thread: Week 13, 2015: Cardinals @ Rams

Cardinals go to the EJD to avenge their loss at home earlier in the season. On the talk sports radio stations here in Phoenix, Erhens has been talking a lot of trash about how he hates the Rams and that they are a dirty team. The sports announcers have been harping on the topic of the Rams being a dirty team as well and Erhens and the players agree, at least locally.

Despite what we could do if we had a HC with half a brain, we will probably lose our fifth straight game. I will not be here for this one. New route kicks in and I am back to working on Sundays.

I don't believe the Rams are a dirty team. The Raiders of the 70s were a dirty team. Pat Fischer of the Cards/Redskins was the dirtiest player I ever saw. We aren't anything like them. The problem is I believe that the Rams play hard and fast. Possibly to the echo of the whistle. Win or lose a Rams team is going to punch you in the mouth. And nobody likes to be punched in the mouth. A team like the Cards doesn't want to play a team like the Rams. Somebody might get hurt and ruin their playoff run.

Well yea, precisely Ozark. The talk show hosts eventually arrived at those conclusions after a boatload of whining about how hard the Rams get after people on defense and how physical they are. Typical Erhens to go on local radio and whine about these physical Rams. If we do lose, I hope we knock the crap out of their offense. It is the last vestige of dignity these team has despite a braindead Fisher and our subsequent lame offense.
