It was the right call . We weren't stopping Dallas so why let them run clock too ?

thank you for agreeing with me that it was a dumb call. All these guys here like the call with that amount of time left with momentum.

I'll agree with you too. My son who at is just hitting 21 never followed football until about 2 years ago, and asked why they tried an on-side kick with so much time left, even he thought it was a bad call. I think Gruden panicked and prayed to steal a game.

I think Gruden realized our defense was looking horrid and felt that the on sides kick couldnt hurt any worse than Dallas running another 7 minute 75 yard drive down their throats.

In all honesty it's one of those plays that if it works its smart, if not its dumb. I didn't agree with it but that was after the fact.
