Game Thread: Week 12: Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills

Devon Singleterry almost had as many yards rushing as we did in total offense, this game might have been the worst game I’ve seen in along time. The Defense tried but good god our Offense is trash.

As much as we all love to shit talk Joe Flacco he never had a game for us as bad as Allen had today.

We should start Lock for the rest of the year but on the off chance we still don’t think he’s ready, I think we should give it to Rypien next week, he can’t be any worse.

Some random observations:

- DaeSean Hamilton wide open on at least three obvious plays, and the result of all three ( that I saw ) was negative yardage or no gain .. Allen, for whatever reason, not even looking his way .. These routes are not deep, downfield routes either ..

- I hate to bring up Vance, but Vance and the Broncos coaches were the staff for the Senior Bowl the year we picked Yiadom .. I remember the draft day call to Yiadom from Vance as he reminded Yiadom that they kept their promise, obviously, alluding to their meeting at the Senior Bowl … Yiadom has been really bad ..

- During the past month, Chris Harris hasn't done a whole lot to secure that richest CB contract he was rambling on about before the season ..

- The defense had a hard time getting off the field after putting the Bills in numerous 3rd and long situations .. It seemed like every drive the Bills had in the first half they were converting 3rd and 12, 3rd and 8, 3rd and 14 … Von Miller has disappeared as a pass rusher

Honestly Von was a bright spot today but it wasn’t by much. We only hit Josh Allen 3 times today and Von was our only sack. The entire team seemed to revert back to the beginning of the year where could even touch the QB let alone sack them.

Nobody will catch Cincy, but the Fins, Giants and Redskins are ahead of us, all at 2-9

Yiadom Is more of a Man on man DB so you are talking what I call system overload. He was a great fit for a Wade Phillips D ....

My guess this staff will trade him if they do not think they can fix his issues during the offseason.

Chris Harris Gets mentions Fangio instantly states that such and such should let down their assignments He has never stated Harris was the problem. Fangio stated Harris got the way he is with thousands of hours on the practice field . Our young DB's are reasonably decent .

Our D is good enough .

Cam Newton most Broncos fans would be so excited to have had him on our team before our team turned him into a blithering idiot. Now, who would want that idiot?

Besides I like what we have in both our young QB's !

This D is going to be a monster. We need a QB and one monster WR for now.I want to see the rest of the year I believe one of our WR's will show up and I will think we are fine with our WR on the team

The draft will be important But I like our Coaches Eyes for the talent he helped with last year's Draft. So far last year's draft was darn solid. And we are reasonably Deep on the D side of the ball as long as we resign one DE, Simons and Chris Harris.

I think we got our QB in either Lock or Rypien and I do believe we will draft at least one more QB next year.

We will more than likely have another OC the one we have is allergic to running the football

If we would have started Freeman and gave him 20 runs a game we would have been still in the playoff run.


In the Draft

Our #1 need is a monster WR with blazing speed.

our 2nd need is DE if we sign just one for depth

Our 3rd need is QB and this might adjust to #1 with how our QB's operate the rest of the year.

We need a starting R Gaurd out of the draft./ Cut Leary or a major pay cut by him.



FA go after an LT like we let go, Taylor that went to Greenbay for 3 million a year.

Really I would prefer the rest of FA bucks spent on our own UFA's .

In the Draft, we should go for 3 or four Draft pick on Smaller colleges OL like Chris Kuper that never had QB sacks charged on them in College and are kick-ass physical as all hell in the Running Game
