Game Thread: Week 11: Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos

This is a game that features 2 teams that are going in the opposite directions. Miami is doing the things to win, and Denver continues to make mistakes that is costing them games. From a Denver perspective I don't think the issue is a lack of talent as we have had before, but things are definitely not working the way things are going now. If there is not a positive change in performance we may be a 3 win team when the season ends. Right now with the level of performance I am not sure that this team will beat any team left on their schedule. There will be some tough decisions coming in at year end either way.

I find myself in a rare spot as a Bronco's fan - watching just to see which players don't quit and assessing next year. I Hope I'm wrong.

Who would have thought Miami would come to Mile High in late November as the Favorite?

If the Broncos are going to win this game they have to improve in the following 3 areas:

• 1st down yards gained.
• Turn over differential
• Run defense

If Denver can average 5 yards on 1st down, which should lead to manageable 3rd down. The defense needs to turn over the Dolphins more then we give it away. If it is close game and we can make Tua beat us then I like our chances.

I based on the play the last couple weeks this is a monumental improvement. I am not sure that we will see that kind of improvement to allow them to get the win, but hope to see more efficiency on offense and a turnover free game. We will see what plays out.

I know Lock and Fant are questionable, but I think both play. The question is if they will finish the game?

Since they activated Wilkinson, where does he play? RG? RT? I don't think they had to activate Wilkinson, but he was yesterday. Maybe he was activated for depth. I guess we will see.
