One would hope Jay Gruden knows this, and would not leave Polumbus alone with Watt, or anyone alone with Watt, except maybe Trent.

Most of Watt's havoc has come vs single blocking, which just means our offensive coordinator is getting out coached. Not good Jay, not good.

I have wanted to say that too but lets think about that for a second. Watt lines up wherever he wants to. So how do you account for him because he could line up anywhere. I know the answer to the question, the QB has to adjust protection lets remember we have a young QB that is still learning. That might be a lot to ask of him at this point in his career.

If, in his 3rd year, he can't audible out of trouble or adjust line calls, I'm afraid he's not going to make it. College players can do that, good rookies in the NFL do that.

Its an ominous sign for both Gruden and Griffin that they let Watt wreak that much havoc without planning to keep him doubled or to run away from him.

KSD, its not that easy. He never had to do it before this year and its not something that becomes second nature in one offseason. This is where we need patience while he learns.
