Just hitting some of those points. I thought Dak was almost perfect the first half. There was no doubt in my mind that we were going to score before half. The second half, the Rams seem to get more pressure on him. He was throwing out of some weird positions , which of course caused him to be a little erratic. I’m not remembering the Cooper drop. I do remember the TE having one clank ofF his hands. Are you talking about when Ramsey stuck him and forced him to fumble. ?? That would have been a first down. The offense to me looks very dangerous, especially with the run threat of Dak. I still go back to what Parcells use to say. Every 100 yards should equal 7 points. Last night we had 402 I think. Just not efficient enough. Now we did miss a long field goal.
Yes, you know that's the play I'm talking about...except for the "stuck" part...Huge play in the game and perfect pass and wasn't even bang bang on the hit. No excuse for dropping that. Pretty much ended the game

I thought you might have meant the one at about the 10 yard line where Coop wasn’t looking and Dak threw low because of the pressure

2nd to last drive

That other one was just bad luck. It's hard to imagine an NFL WR actually gets hit with a ball while running across the middle and doesn't catch it but even if he was looking he would have needed to go down to make a play on that one. You can't call that one a drop. I guess you can fault him for not having a clue what was going on and not paying attention. He also bailed Dak out on an out pattern on the right sideline in the first half. Made a great catch on a ball that was going away from him. They didn't show a replay so not sure if it was fingertips, but he stretched out while cutting towards the sideline.

And I'm in the camp of liking the decision / liking the play / hating the WR not running the route to the sticks. The logic was sound.
Another reason teams go for it is when they think at worst they'll stop the other team if they fail and get the ball back at mid-field. That didn't look to be very likely

Cowboys need to get the running backs more involved in the passing game. William's and looney not getting it done at run blocking or pass blocking. We are looking at a very bad situation at TE and RT. We know damn well that teams are going to attack our RT with Collins being out. It up to Moore to add different wrinkles. Cant count on these TE do get anything done in the middle which will mean teams will focus resources to slow the running game.

Hell of a run. I thought for sure watching it live speed that they were going to say his knee was down. He can be very dangerous on those flat passes.

I doubt Zeke and those Rams RBs are feeling too good today. They all took some big shots.

Zeke is a threat to go all the way anytime he gets the ball.

When watching the Gallup PI at full speed it looked like a possible push off. And I mean "possible" I was just watching a video on Mark Holmes youtube channel. He has a video on there and in slow motion it is very clear that Ramsey flopped. It is as "Clear as day" that he flopped. Ramsey was clearly hooking Gallups right arm right before the flop. The refs totally botched this call and ended any chance at a victory

It was a bad game all over IMHO. Not impressed with offense at all. McCarthy should have kicked the field goal. Hell I thought Garrett was still coaching and calling plays. Jarwin gone for the year now Defense sucked Lb’s were terrible then LVE goes down and his career is in serious jeopardy. We still can’t stop the run for squat. Alton Smith flashed at times Lawrence can’t get home WTH. Overall a D grade and that’s generous. Hopefully it gets better.

A new coaching staff and no preseason games were not beneficial to this team.

McVay has always been conservative. You just wouldn't know it by how much the Rams score.
McVay attacked our LB'ers with the screens, roll outs and misdirection's. Strong game plan to start the game.

Nice to see the defense make some in game adjustments like blitzing to get some pressure, just wish the adjustments were quicker.

This game was lost in the trenches
