Not going to matter who the QB is if we can't block those blitz packages. If we run the ball like we have been and control the clock, Weeden can make the throws when needed. I'm more worried about the defense stopping the run. Going to be a tough game for sure.

Agree with ya there, I think we may need to take a page out of the Cards and Skins playbook and send the house at Palmer. Maybe we give up some big plays, but we haven't been getting to the QB with our pass rush, and if Palmer has time, it will be a long day for our secondary IMO

I think that is a good call. Without Romo, we'd be underdogs against Zona and a slight favorite against Jax. Worst case, we'd be 6-4 with a healthy Romo coming back. I think we would win one and maybe both games with Weeden , and be set for the home stretch

AGREED!! Worst case they split the 2 games. If they can't beat Jax on a neutral field then they have no business talking playoffs anyway.

Good plan. Tough break for you guys, but good plan. Gotta bet they can go 1-1 on next 2 games with one of them being Jax. Then the bye = 3 weeks of rest, at 7-3.

I would take 7-3 with a healthy Romo and be thrilled. They should also get Randle much more involved asap, even if it means a loss. Last thing you Boys can afford now is an injured Murray too.

I do think Jerry is throwing Romo under the bus to pressure him into playing. DMN headline "pain tolerance will be the key".Really Jerry? Romo has played with a punctured lung, cracked ribs, and two back surgeries in the last two years. He gets shot up now just so he can play. He was begging the Dr to put him back in.
