We have been discussing who we might face in the playoffs. But here is a question for you??

Do any of you think the Packers, Sea Hawks and Vikings are all looking at next weeks game hoping they can angle to play Washington in the Wild Card round??

I know at first glance every one thinks we are easy pickin's. And Im not hinting that any one should fear playing this team. But I will point out, Kirk and this team as a whole are actually playing some good football for the most part over the last 10-12 games even in the losses in most cases. The team has also been solid at home for the most part. Also thinking Fed Ex will be rocking in two weeks. (Yes I am already trying to secure tickets and a flight thank you very much)

I honestly don't think any NFL teams even think like that. Maybe in some closed door meetings and in private they might hope for some certain match up, but I don't think they try to fix it where they can get a certain match up. Or I could really naive. I'd imagine the Seahawks feel like they can go in anywhere and win and they have past success vs the Skins in the playoffs.

Let them shark as you've said playing with house money at this point and the only thing that would make things suck would be a 45-3 thrashing by someone in fed ex. Other than that scenario it's a win win

There is one big reason why no teams want to play us at home......the field itself. There have been too many injuries due to the crappy nature of fedex field this time of year.

Good point. Haven't seen any current info on the state of the field...the warm weather the East has had should be helpful this time tho.

Some how i get the feeling we are not going to ignore the Cowboys this week. But we are going to focus more from a coaching standpoint of preparing for a game against the Hawks or Vikes. I think we use this Dallas game to stress fixing the run, and Kirk will be in a ball cap by half time.

Washington is an interesting team. It all comes down to Cousins. Seattle's secondary is very over-rated and can get torched by elite to very good QBs. If your QB is not that though...forget about it. They will neutralize your run game, pressure you, and handcuff a bad to mediocre QB. But this is the amount of points they've given up to good teams with elite to very good QBs: 39, 30, 27, 27, 27. Has Cousins taken that next step? If so, I think they could beat Seattle.

After watching the Packer game last night, I'd be angling to face them in the first round before Washington. That line was brutalized and Aaron Rodgers cannot adjust to getting almost no time to throw.

Vikings are really good too. They could hang with anyone if they bring their A game.

If I had to choose a team, I'd likely choose facing GB. But I sincerely don't really care who we meet, just want us to play our game as we've been these past 3 games.
