He had a rough 3 games in a row. Just goes to show that the Niners spending little draft capital on corners is the right move, hopefully. A ferocious pass rush will always be the best way to defend against the pass.

The downside is Stafford should only be more proficient in this offseason next season, getting more rid of bad tendencies of trying to force a play stemming from his Detroit days. And these WRs will be a force, I'm thinking OBJ stays. He is happy here and said he will give a diacount

Rams might have one more season in them before that SB window slams shut and the bill comes due for all the moves they made.

They clearly pushed all their chips on the table mainly for this year and it paid off for them so I'm sure they're fine with the bill that's about to hit them.

They have one more year of Stafford being relatively cheap in terms of franchise QB numbers but I believe Donald's cap hit goes from 14 million to 26 million, Kupp's jumps from 5 million to 18 million, Ramsey's goes from 10 million to 23 million, and even if they take discounts OBJ and Miller aren't going take peanuts like they did this season.

But the NFC at this time isn't shaping up to be overly top-heavy in terms of strong teams next season so it'll likely be an open field come playoff time.

9ers could potentially be a force depending on what Trey Lance gives them because they'll largely return the same team they had this past season so if Lance is just better than Jimmy G they'll be in good shape and if he's way better than Jimmy G they'll be in excellent shape. Seahawks have cap space so they have room to improve and bounce back. But other than those two teams all the other teams we'd call good teams in the NFC aren't really in a position to be better next season. Of course they'll be teams that could surprise and take a significant step forward like the Eagles or Cardinals but you don't really see anyone else in the NFC that's primed for a breakout though.

So I could see even a diminished Rams team still having enough to be in it next season.

It was 50-50. But the Ramsey no call was 100% awful. Make up calls been going on for years. The Apple hold was obvious too.
