67 wins. Spurs eliminated before they got to GSW. Clippers eliminated before getting to GSW. Cleveland are without Love....yeah anything less than a title at this point would be a major disappointment.

You don't win 67 games every year and have such a favorable road to the title as they do this year

Agreed, there is no excuse now. Not to mention the Warriors are the best team of this century.

Pelicans are a much better team than Boston. The Celtics just thugged it up and got chippy so you could debate that one but on paper the Pelicans were tougher than Boston.

Memphis was healthier than Chicago and probably better although we have no way of gauging how good Memphis was because their first round opponent was banged up.

Hawks v Houston depends on whether or not you think the Hawks play a playoff style of basketball. Ill say its a push for now.

So Ive got 2-0-1 saying that the Cavs have the easier path
I think it depends on how you define easier path. The Warriors first round was a better quality opponent. But the brutal physicality that Boston ended with resulting in injury for the Cavaliers makes it hard to call it an easier path. Second round opponents were about even quality teams, but the Bull again were the more physical of the two. Conference finals they face fairly even opponents again, we'll see how physical it gets.

I would say overall the Warriors have faced slightly better competition, but had to play a less physical game. So which is tougher is a difficult call.

This Warriors team isn't even up for discussion on the all-time title teams since after 2000. They're pretty damn good, but not all-time good.

The Heat had some great teams, the Lakers had some great teams, also the Spurs.

Good thing the worst SPURS team of the last 5 years was still able to kick the shit out of them like usual this season.

The 2015 Warriors should be bowing down to the 2015 Clippers gods in thanks.

No other team owns one team quite like San Antonio owns the Warriors.
It might be the single most lopsided series in any pro sports.

I think SA has won 29 out of its last 30 home games versus GSW, and the majority are laughable blowouts.

I don't know about all that. Warriors would beat San Antonio this year

You do know that those 29 of those 30 wins are completely irrelevant now right? lol

The played 3 times and the Spurs smoked them twice, including on their home floor

And that was probably a successful effort for GSW going (1-2) versus the team that owns them

It is a mute point, since CP3 hit that shot.

But, I would take SA probably 80/100 to beat GSW in a 7 game series every time.

I don't know about all that. Warriors would beat San Antonio this year

I was very concerned about having to play the Spurs.

The Warriors had a season split of 1-2 with the Spurs. The Spurs are simply a matchup problem for the Warriors. Even if the Warriors were playing every game against the Spurs at their absolute peak, I still wouldn't feel comfortable about it.

I thought if they played at there est that we would win the series IMO

I'm sure you would, and as a homer Warrior fan, I'd say it'd be closer to 55/45 Warriors. Warriors also "smoked" the Spurs in their victory.

The series would come down to adjustments. And from what Kerr did against the Grizzlies, I believe he'd be able to do so.

The 2013 Heat team thinks you're a joke.

27 game win streak.
LOL! You talkin' about that team that should have lost to the Spurs in the Finals? The team whose fans were streaming out of the arena right before Ray Allen made that lucky shot to win game 6? That team had no business being a champion and the Spurs made sure everybody knew it the following year.

Spurs are a horrible matchup for GS. They are lucky the Clip caught fire and took them down.

So you are saying a SA fan would take SA against the Warriors every time? Well you made a good argument there that SA would've definitely beat the Warriors in a 7 game series this year.

The Spurs and Grizzlies were the two teams I didn't not want to face in the playoffs. One out of two ain't bad.
