back on discipline (even post game)

interesting that we have so many Sharks talking shit about the Nucks
clowe, thornton, eager, wellwood, etc...

even Sedin when asked about eager hit:
"No big deal. I saw him coming, he just hit me a little harder than i thought he would. His game it so bring energy and he's good at that"
not an ill word to be said.

I just love the composure we are seeing, as that's what unraveled us against Chicago previously. The team is just flat out businesslike this year.

On the plus side, if San Jose loses game three then this series is guaranteed to go seven games.

yup good description ... Ive been using "clinical" lol

its just great that the Sharks are just so yappy postgame ... blaming refs, calling people phony, calling people cowards

i guess its better than talking about how you cant skate with the canucks and your penalty kill is getting obliterated

also that they dont really have an answer for the Sedins right now ... Keith and Seabrook, Weber and Suter and now ....... :)

Blake Price twitter:
At what point do all those making accusations of the Canucks and their fans being whiners, become whiners themselves?

Meh, who besides teh Eager idiot said anything THAT bad? (sorry, no access to any post-game stuff here so completely clueless as to what all was said)

Clowe's comment isn't that bad... Wellwood has been going at it with Canucks players the whole series... what did Thornton say? Bitch about the refs? They did miss a pretty obvious double-minor at a crucial point of the game on the high stick on him... and an interference or two on him... and the high stick on Seto... and yes, a call or two against the Sharks as well.

Sigh... enjoy the 2-0 lead but don't make it sound like the whole Sharks team is a bunch of whiny bitches all of a sudden.

that is absolutely wrong. I don't have the game PVR'd anymore (I even missed the boob-shot), but CBC had it freeze framed. I'm sure a screen-grab will show up sooner or later.
there were 7 guys on the ice when Joe took the puck.

And yet the puck is nowhere near the bench. I've seen that let go too many times to believe that has to be called. The refs knew it was a possible turning point and weren't gonna allow it. Can't let the Sharks get a breakaway by god.

Well t'was a great win for the Canucks tonight no doubt, but given Luongo's horrid history at the Shark tank this series is far from over. That being said, San Jose didn't show much in the way of proving they can get back in the series tonight.

OK, so "coward" is harsh but the dude is no angel out there.. maybe "master diver" is less harsh but whatever.. :p

As for Sharks being mentally weak.. Yes, I think they've proven that many times already; it's not really new. Hah.

Agreed Rares. The Canucks are one heck of a team, but the refs have got to be better. This would be a much different game if they just did their damn job. 6 minute of penalties missed in the first (although the penalty when Heatley fell was not a trip), then the Thornton breakaway on a play that is never called too many men on the ice...

Give the Canucks credit, but this was not a 7-3 game. And their coach is an idiot- nobody was calling the hit on Daniel an exaggeration- because someone correctly pointed out that players on his team have done it in the past does not mean that every play must be mired in some diving controversy.

Eager needs to sit. 3 terrible penalties turned a close game that could go either way, to a "blowout". I was embarrassed watching him talk shit to Louongo in a 7-3 game. I dont care how bad Mayers has been, put him in.

Clowe, Seto, and Pavs need to step up. This is the second year in a row they have completely dissappeared in the Conference Finals.

I may be a complete homer, but I think Jumbo has been the best player in the series. Sad thing is, the next best Sharks might be the 6th or 7th best player in the series.

First two periods weren't that bad.... 3rd was just a complete abomination, though.

Game 3 key is to let Vancouver score first, IMO. :p

I should rephrase. EV is not an idiot, but his sarcastic comments about Daniel throwing his head back were completely idiotic. TMac, also, is not an idiot.
