Local resident captures orcas at play in Burrard Inlet

Price has seen orcas aplenty when he used to work up the B.C. coast. But now he’s based at the Tymac facility at the foot of Main Street, dispatching water taxis and tugs — and the whale sightings are rare.

In fact he’s only seen orcas in Vancouver harbour once, “probably 15 years ago on a foggy day in November when they came up under the lights of the [Second Narrows Bridge],” he said.

He doesn’t know what the whales were doing in Vancouver, although the social media world was full of comments about the orcas visiting the city to support the Vancouver Canucks — the team whose logo famously uses a killer-whale graphic.

The whales started to move and Price followed them toward the Lions Gate Bridge. He said the pod followed the Stanley Park seawall between the bridge at First Narrows and the famous Siwash Rock.

i just think Kesler realizes he more valuable on the ice for 5 minutes.

Keslers a hell of a player, but I don't think he's on Joe's level when Joe feels like playing. When Joe decides to play I think he is a top 5 player in this game, and hes decided to play so far these playoffs.

Joe can take over a game, for sure. he's destroyed us over the years (why we seem to give him space when he stops up over the blueline has been bugging me since he's played in Boston). And he is playing very well in these playoffs.

but right now... Kesler is coming off of an absolute legendary series, and the series before that he held Toews to 1 goal. You don't often hear Conn Smythe talk in the 2nd round.

also, looks like Tamby may draw back in for Glass for game 2.
