the good news is that SJ was able to keep van to 1/4 and they were 1/1 on the PP

lets hope the reffing will get even for game 2. I'm still very confident in this team (pre period 3)

Same here. I think the Sharks bring this series back home tied.

whatever the outcome of this series, i hope Torres and Lapierre get whats coming to them and you know exactly what i mean...although the Sharks are my favorite team, Canucks are a close second but i got no interest in scumbags like these two...that "elbow" scumbag Torres got from Heatley? laughable. definitely oscar worthy performance. not sure Sharks have anyone capable of laying a good hit on these losers, maybe Nichol will get some revenge. Sharks got owned tonight in that dept. they definitely need some rest.

1) Sharks need to generate more offense. Only in the 2nd did they look dangerous at all.
2) Reffs need to be better- calls pretty clearly broke the Canucks way tonight.

Reffing aside, in the end the Canucks skated better than the Sharks and got a close win.

Is this a good time to inject the fact that Steve Kozari hails from Penticton, BC?!?

didnt see it posted here but that moment they showed AV laughing when they had that defenisve zone faceoff coming with less than a minute left after the icing call ... and no centres on the ice (Burrows and DSedin)

Henrik went up to him and asked him if he wanted him to switch jerseys with Daniel and get on the ice (lol)

Very impressive 3rd period by the Canucks. The Sharks looked like they were trying to protect the lead. Obviously they didn't learn anything from the Red Wings series.

The most impressive thing about the Canucks tonight was the way they attacked the net. There were times when it seemed like Niemi had 2 or 3 guys in front of him.

I still can't figure out why defenseman at the point can't shoot the puck on net. It's not just this game, but every game in the postseason. A rebound can create a very good scoring chance. Players don't need to shoot the puck 100 mph wide or over the net. There's no such thing as a bad shot at this point. Just get the bisquit on the damn net.

Don Cherry playing guitar hero at 4:30

JayOnrait tweet

Someone at CBC actually said: "'Let's get Don to play air guitar with these guys" Taxpayers need to be consulted about these decisions.

canucks started off discombobulated then grew stronger as the game went on. I wouldnt say the officiating was horrible but it wasnt great and certainly a few calls went the canucks way. San Jose had teh chance to really get a strangle hold early in the 3rd but luongo shutdown Joe which gave the canucks life. canucks deserved to win this game and san jose deserved to lose. if the canucks play game 2 like they played the 3rd we will win game 2.
