This series is already better than the Canucks - Preds series (although I do miss the Carrie Underwood camera close-ups).

That is now seven straight WCF losses for San Jose. The extra day off before Game 2 will help the Sharks. They looked tired in that 3rd period.

I thought they played pretty well. Huskins was put in a bad spot since he hasn't played in so long. Sharks have Demers in instead of Huskypants and I think they win the game. Also, Sharks and Nucks have even PP and I think it's at least a tie game.

The Sharks may very well lose this series (hell, they might even lose it bad). That said, Detroit scared me much more than anything I saw tonight. Sharks just have to adjust to Vancouver's superior speed.

Tonight, Vancouver's 3rd line destroyed the Sharks 3rd line. That was the difference of the game imho.

started out pretty good. Big Joe looked interested, anyways... that's a good sign.
the big rest helped us out tremendously. I think we hit better than you guys tonight, paid off in the 3rd.
