Just read an article that Earl Watson potentially has interest in interviewing for the Jazz head coaching position. I have to say, I am very interested and border line excited by this idea. He has a ringing endorsement from Hubie Brown. And, there was even a suggestion that Hubie would come and be his top assistant (not traveling on the road but just helping at home due to his age). Earl has played under some excellent coaches. He has tenacity and toughness. I don't know if he fits the statistic geek mode that maybe Dennis Lindsey is looking for, but this feels right to me. Stockton is too far removed.
Hayward was asked about it and I guess he would look forward to playing for Earl.
