Think the Jets thing happens at the end of the day, and Houston makes out pretty well
Maybe the Texans want to send him to the NFC? That could be in play.

I know I'd certainly try and do that if I'm the Texans.

I think it will ultimately be NY or Miami, it just depends on what they are offered.....they need to get as much as they can since it's going to be a major rebuild now.

Think if the Texans don’t come out of this trade with a potential franchise QB, it will forever be a mess, and the only way that’s most likely possible, is to grab a Top 5-7 pick in this draft

I just keep thinking Jets, Miami, Carolina with an outside shot

Wonder if Jerry would offer Amari Cooper, few firsts and some lower round picks for Watson and let Dak walk?

I don’t know if they would rather Darnald or take that #2 and take Wilson or Fields

interesting dilemma
I would take Watson over both those choices all day long. You could clone splice all the best of those 3 and Watson is still likely much better, imo.

Oh yeah I agree with that, I’m playing under the assumption they are forced to move him, and think it will happen at the end of all this

I think the Jets can get a couple playmakers in FA and just a few depth pieces and they are immediately much better. The D isn't that bad. They have a stud LT (way better than Tunsil) and a ciach with a winning attitude and pedigree. Way better shape than Jax or Houston.

What Watson SHOULD be doing is looking to gtfo of the AFC. The best teams in the AFC have QBs as young or younger than Watson. The best teams in the NFC have old ass QBs who won't be around forever. If he's at all interested in winning neither the Jets or the Dolphins are the best fit long term

I agree with that, it’s why I mentioned Rams or Niners, prob end up in the SB for the next 3-4 years with those rosters

just don’t see how those teams manage to pull off a trade

I'm not even sure it matters what team in the NFC. Imo the worst teams in the NFC are closer to making a SB in the next 3-4 years than anyone in the AFC not named KC or Buffalo

But they have to be able to give the Texans something. The Jets are brought up because they have the #2 pick in a draft where that can get you a QB.

It would be really difficult for any team in the NFC to come anywhere near what the Jets or Dolphins could offer.

you know I could see Chargers/Chiefs games being like the old days with Fouts vs. Marino.
An ultimate Qb show.

Definitely, as far as divisional matchups go, that could be the #1 must watch twice a year

I'm just talking about where Watson should want to go.
