I'd prefer trading down and adding picks IF we are keeping Ryan. Roster has too many holes to take a player who plays one of about 3 positions where we are already good at . I get people wanting a QB but we are so cap strapped the only way to imported the run game , pass rush and secondary is through the draft.

Lotta mocks I see have them taking one of the 2 great Olineman

of course most of these mocks don’t project trades

Here's a legal question:

If you demand a trade, does that negate your "No Trade Contract?"

If it does, then you can't have any control of where you go.

If it doesn't, the a team can tell you to go fry your ass.

Legally, it cannot work both ways.

People have speculated on that, and apparently it was well planned and being reported as Watson “requests trade”. It may for that very reason “demand” has not been used

He's closer than you think.

Jones sucks anyway.

Not even close, we are talking about a QB off to a historical start in this league both individually and from a team accomplishment standpoint

When did it get to where a QB had any say in anything about coaching? Dude needs to realize his spot and shut up and play football.

Vince Lombardi is rolling over in his grave.

Panthers are the most average team in the league (minus QB) so they would be a great litmus test for how good Watson is. Not sure thats what he is looking for.

That’s 2 late 1’s and OBJ does nothing for a roster years from competing

any trade they make has to include a Top 5 pick this season so at least they can sell their fans on a future franchise QB

This and I can't see the Browns giving up on Mayfield at this point. Hes basically their identity now. Watson is no doubt the better qb but you're talking about team culture etc

Well a couple of things

apparently loves the hiring of Saleh. The new Jets GM seems to have a good reputation as a guy that really knows what he’s doing. Insane amount of draft capital and the 2nd most cap space in the league

it’s the Jets, it could go wrong, you ain’t wrong about that, but a quick rebuild is real possible
But it's New York. Nothing good happens in New York......

I think it comes down to the Rams or 49ers now or another team in the NFC.

This is gonna get nasty and I doubt Houston sends him to another team in the AFC.

Pretty sure they do. That's why they would be fining him for sitting out.
