I've already said many times that I'm not OD. I don't make claims and run when they don't come true. I am a true UW fan. I never hid during the 0-12 season. I didn't hide after that horrible loss in the Apple cup. Why would this be any different? Look at people's history before you ask those questions. I'd be willing to bet half of your clan will be absent the week after when UW lowers the boom on your team. Will you man up?

And as for the other teams having already made H/H with your team what makes you think there were reasons it hasn't already happened? We aren't taking ancient history. BSU hasn't been on the scene for decades. The fact is UW did make one and it makes sense for them to do so. Only Bronco fans can diss on a team that has an H/H for being too afraid of making one. You people are sad.

Why do all BSU fans worry about UW buying out of their return game? As far as I can remember UW has never bought out of one in the past and given how they setup their OOC's it would not be in their best interest to buy them out. I know you believe everyone in the nation is afraid to play at smurf turf, but I just don't see it. If UW wasn't too afraid to play at LSU why on earth would anything think they would be unwilling to go to Boise? It's a road game that isn't much farther way than going to a road apple cup and is a shorter travel than 2/3 of the conference games. The only way I'd ever see them buying out is to take a better game with an elite team and generally those are scheduled out a lot farther than this return game.
Ha! I am not worried at all wiz, if for some unknown reason UW doesn't honor their part of the HnH deal we get a million bucks to put towards improvements and we'll just reschedule another team to play. Win or lose this game, I'm not worried at all if UW buys out the return game... Boise State and our fans have a million reasons not to worry!:suds:

Damn straight, I'll man up. But if Boise State prevails your ass better be here too.

My gut says you'll be in for one hell of a shitstorm.

The truth is Wiz, that Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State have all sacked up and made trips into Boise. Washington is the only PAC team from the Pacific Northwest that has not played Boise in Boise.

Wiz, now what the hell are you gonna do if Washington actually loses this game? Will you be here to take your take your beatin like a man? And you will be in for a hell of a beatin Wiz -- you know that, right. Maybe you'll make excuses for the loss?

He spends a great deal of his time trying to downplay Boise's incredible run of success and considering Washington's brutal past dozen years or so, I certainly get it. It's been terribly disappointing.

He's not alone. People hate you when you're good. Jealousy is a motherfucker. He's claiming Washington in a blowout (I'm sorry but saying U-Dub by 2 TDs plus is a blowout to me). LOL. Pretty fucking arrogant all things considered. But I get it. Washington is extremely tough at home, the stadium has been renovated, Sark's on the hot seat, they have twice as many returning starters (Boise only has 9), and they are angry after getting beat by Boise in the bowl game, etc., etc.

We'll just have to see. If Washington loses, I'm guessing he'll still be around, but I also expect a bunch of excuses alla Washington's loss to Boise in last year's bowl game. Hopefully we'll get to see how he responds in the event that Washington does lose this game.

And I don't want to see a million dollar buyout in the return game. My hope is that the Huskies honor their damn commitment, man up, and make the trip to Boise.

And if Washington does win, count on the fact that I'll be here. I'll be the first one to congratulate them and wish them well for the remainder of the season (I've always liked them anyway). You won't hear any excuses from this side of the table.

People have tried to tell him, but our friend, Wiz, doesn't plain old doesn't get it. It's not like he's stupid, Lord, he could write a Russian novel with all his verbiage. He just doesn't understand how Boise, as a team committed to moving up, not just getting a paycheck, views the college football scene.

It isn't about teams being afraid to come to Boise, never has been, but frankly, if you left it up to the money grubbing AD's, and the cowardly coaches (who'd rather play all their OOC games against FCS teams), not one of them would ever come to the Blue. It's about the business that football has become. And it is not good for the sport.

I don't think that our friend Wiz has even the slightest idea of what Boise has been able to do. Not many former junior colleges are now inhabitants of the top 25, year after year. Not many small market teams get so much national attention as the Broncos do. Indeed, we Boise fans seem to attract a passionate bunch of detractors.

Wiz, it isn't about whether or not UW backed out of a commitment to play in Boise, in the past or in the future. It's about how most big schools look at the Boise's of the world. It's about a system in which money and status both trump talent. We tire of being viewed as that "cute little team" that seems to constantly overachieve. That was fine in 2006, but Boise has been on the scene with teams that win, year after year. What Boise wants is a seat at the table. No offense, but they've earned it. We are tired of being forced to open every year on the road to some major school, even though the trips are a lot of fun. It's time to have the favors returned.

I know, I know, most schools don't want to come to Boise, not enough money, and a damn good chance that they'd lose. But go ahead, wrap yourself in your Husky gear, I seriously doubt that you can even get the overriding point.

Here's to a good game in Seattle. We may not win, but you'll get all that the team, and the fans, have.

Peace.

So is Nebraska's program. Washed, not good, in fact borderline embarrassing these last dozen years or so. No clue why you hate Boise so much (it's evident in every post), while Boise fans couldn't give two shits about Nebraska, but whatever.

Hilarious how I give my opinion on this game which has zero to do with Nebraska, which is far from washed and you find a way to bring them into it.

Boise is waaaaaaaaaashed. Lots more Maaco Las Vegas bowls or whatever the fuck that thing is called in their future.

And yet they still finished ranked much higher than shithouse Nebraska AGAIN in one of their worst seasons in the last 11 years. You guys are a fucking joke these days. Weak. A national laughing stock. A bunch of fucking pussies. BTW, 6 loss Wisconsin just scored again on your pathetic, pussy ass defense.

There's the real Smiles. Condescending, egomaniacal, and believes he knows you better than you know yourself.

Doesn't matter how many times I tell him (or B4L who again looked lost as can be above) that I have nothing against BSU and have said over and over how impressive their run as been. They won't have any of it. They KNOW I hate their team and think they are bad. Why? Because in their world there is only love of BSU or hate. There is nothing in between. For whatever reason they can't see that maybe most just don't find them relevant enough to care one way or the other. I have said at least 100 times that my only issue with anything is ALL mid-majors are way over ranked. That's it. I think a 3 loss AQ should be ranked higher than an undefeated mid-major because of the difficulty in the schedules played by both. I've never said anything worse than that, but you get that drivel above no matter what you say.

Smiles, how many times have I said BSU is a dangerous opponent and that few teams are better at preparing for first games of the season and bowl games? I've given credit all over the place and not once have you EVER acknowledged it. You are either a retard or a really bad troll.

Arrogant for liking my team in the first game? :wtf: Seriously? So you tell me what you would think about your teams chances in a game at home in a brand new stadium that is sold out with few tickets going to the opponent vs a team you just lost by 2 to when your team was not playing very well and now your team is going to make huge strides forward in talent and returning players? So it is pure arrogance to think your team should win by double digits at home in a game like that? You wouldn't like your chances if it was BSU at home in similar circumstances? I call total :bullshit:

I have said it before, and for whatever reason you want me to say it again, but I like my teams chances and fully expect them to win it big at home. I also have said anything can happen and it won't be the end of the season if they lost. I do expect Sark would definitely be on a hot seat if he loses it, but they could still pull out a good season without that game.

You think BSU will win and can cite all sorts of reasons why you believe that and never once have I picked on any of those from any of your people. Why? Because fans being high on their own teams are nothing new or unexpected so why shit on people's parades? I don't believe Southwick is anywhere near as good as Moore was, I don't know how great you can expect a team to be with so many first year starters playing in their first live games at such a hostile field, and I think the motivation factor is so far into UW's side that it will take a colossal collapse by UW to lose that game.

And you really need to give up that tired garbage about teams being afraid of losing at smurf turf. It just isn't so. You know who would probably jump at another chance to smash your faces into that blue turf? Oregon. The reason teams aren't lined up to go there is about the money. As we have told you for years and years. Not just the lack of tickets because of your small venue and non existent TV market, but also the expected drop in interest for traveling there by their own fans because it's fucking boise. Tell me 5 things for a tourist to do anywhere in that state? AD's need to schedule destinations that fans actually want to go see as well as teams worth playing on the field. You have half of that equation so stop saying it is fear or lack of respect for their play. It just isn't true.

Let me ask you this (knowing full well you won't answer is as you never do): If you were the AD of a mid level AQ team and you had 4 teams you were looking at making a home and home with: Oklahoma, Nebraska, LSU, and BSU which one would you take first if offered? Rank them in order. I'd go LSU, Nebraska, and Oklahoma in that order and BSU a distant 4th and I'd dare say so would most of the country. BTW, UW has made home and homes with all of the above. Funny that BSU is the last ones they made one with.

Wow, another Russian novel from the Wizard. And you think that I'M arrogant and condescending????

It's a waste of time to even discuss the subject, Wiz. We'll just have to settle it on the field. Good luck, I'll be there, loud and proud.

All of that may be great fun, but can't see many doing that on football game road trip. What do you think fans did who went to the LSU game last year? Most were probably heavily hung over for the game itself given the night life on bourbon street. Is there night life in Boise? I know it is a big consideration for UW's scheduling. They talk about setting up games of interest to the fans all the time. BSU makes sense for travel purposes and it is a short travel for UW fans, but how many of the teams that Smiles and his ilk accuse of being scared from the deep south or east costs find value in traveling that far to a destination that doesn't have the same kind of attraction for its fans? You can't get Smiles or his possy to answer those questions. It would make their entire body of work look stupid.

And again, that's what we expect from you. Make outlandish claims and when called to task you ignore it and go back under your rock until the next time you want to take pot shots at people. Yes, you are a very egomaniacal person in general.

I not only didn't diss BSU fans after the last time UW beat them, but I had a few drinks with some of their fans before that game and had nothing but praise for the ones I encountered at husky stadium. They all seemed fairly nice and took the loss rather well. Win or lose it will be the same this time. I'll be meeting about 15 people at the game mostly from my family so I don't think I will be doing much drinking, but if I do I'll be sure to share a beer with at least one bronco fan. It's sort of a tradition. After the game? I know you all can't understand the difference between pointing out cause and effect vs making up excuses for losses, but I have always accepted losses. What did I say after the WSU game last year? I totally threw price under the bus and ran him over. That's hardly making an excuse. The bowl game? UW had their chances to take that game and blew it. How is that making an excuse? Right, it isn't. Nothing will be any different this game.

I don't really think Boise is washed. Just wanted to see which Boise fans were insecure enough to lose their shit. Mission accomplished.
