1) GS believes they can contend next year and has an owner willing to spend

2) GS does not need to go under the luxury tax line next year because the new arena combined with the team’s popularity is a money making machine. And, they believe they can contend.

3) IF GS somehow decided they were going to blow it up (not happening) they would trade Curry for multiple assets.

4) Not even worth talking about hypotheticals and all your assumptions tied to Curry being waived and signing a team friendly deal because it just isn’t possible. So so far from possible it really isn’t funny.
