Not really much difference between this and football in the 60's in a game involving average teams. This looked a lot like the HS I watched on ESPNU, also played this evening. Hard to see either team making a bowl or even having a winning season.

But some are legal, it depends on a few circumstances. You can't do it on a player that is already engaged with another blocker for example, that is illegal. But if you are 1 on 1 with a defender, it is legal.

The military academies and Georgia Tech have cut blocking down to a science. Perfectly legal as long as you don't do what the above poster mentioned.
