You're right... And being in a interracial relationship you're on your guard a bit more... We would get glances from older couples when we'd walk in the mall or out and about... It's mainly the older generation that has a bit more racism than most... We've been married 24 years now and still going strong "Knock on Wood"... Thank God it's a new era and the younger generation doesn't have as much hate as their parents/grandparents did/do...

I love Spokane but the population has grown by 20% over the past 10 years in the Greater Spokane area... It doesn't have the small city feel like it did years ago but I still love it here... Not going to complain about the traffic by any means, especially after living in Seattle for 5 years... Lots of lakes, mountains, beaches... Love the 4 seasons...

So true... I remember driving from SD to LA and it took me 3 1/2 hours... I literally read half of a book during that drive...

Yeah, the summers are amazing in Kalispell... Take up snowmobiling or snowshoe'g in the winter... It's some of the best... Just watch out for the Wolves, Cougars, Grizzlies and Wolverines in Glacier Park...

It'll always be home but I can fly back on Allegiant Airlines dirt cheap.....anywhere from 200-300 round trip.....so I am enjoying the nice things here....

The future wife wants to move out of this cozy little 2 bedroom and 1 bath for nothing, under 1k.....to a bigger place.....she wants more space....I don't get it.
