Texas had 3 Turnovers lost, 1 turnover on downs, and another virtual turnover with the running into the kicker after a 3 and out

They are probably a better team, but they cannot win versus mediocre teams with that much of a turnover margin yet alone good teams.

They did not turn it over at all versus Alabama for example.

The silver lining is that they still had the lead with 20 seconds to go despite the endless turnovers and penalties.
