Report: Patriots adding ex-Alabama assistant Will Lawing to coaching staff

The Patriots reportedly are bringing on Will Lawing, a former Texans assistant coach who has extensive history with New England offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien.

BOB and BB are supposedly discussing the OL coach position. BB isd leaning toward Billy Yates who's been with the team for about ten or more years as an ass't OL coach. BOB also wants Ryan Wendell.

That might be a stupid question if not for the fact that Yates is being considered for the job this year!

In February 2021, Yates joined the New England Patriots coaching staff as an Offensive assistant and Assistant offensive line coach

If our defense returns to form for next season and this offense is even mediocre out of the gate there is no reason to believe that the Pats won't be able to hang with the best of them in 2023.

I agree. We lost several close ones. Got our butts handed to us by the worst team in the league(Bears). We should be back in the playoffs next year.
