vs. Northwestern

A big game, Homecoming Saturday, and a pretty good Northwestern team coming to Madtown. I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion about it. I'm interested to see how Northwestern starts the game. I'm also quite interested in seeing what, if any, wrinkles we'll see from Andy Ludwig after the bye week. I don't want to say it's a must win, but I don't think it's one UW can afford to lose.

This is one of the biggest recruiting weekends in Wisconsin history. A blowout win with an engaged crowd would be a huge burst to this program.

Huge weekend. NW is building a reputation. Right now we're more hometown team in Chicagoland than they are. And... The defense needs something to hang their hats on. Stopping Colter would be a momentum swing for the season.

Announcers "the coaching staff really wants to be more athletic at the QB position to run their offense." How did this guy beat out Phillips in the preseason? He moves like a tortoise and can't complete a simple 7 yard pass with any accuracy.

It seems our preparation for games is horrible. We have started off slow in almost every game. However, or in game adjustments have been excellent. Coming up with better starts will enable us to win vs the more difficult competition and on the road. Stave with an excellent pass to the other team.

On another note, Borland should be a first round draft choice.

Worst game of the year for Abby. He'll be fine I'm fairly sure. Badgers better run the table with the cupcake schedule. Too bad they didn't have OSU and ASU at home to go 12-0 this season. It looks like it will be another Rose Bowl appearance if OSU wins out as they should.
