This was supposed to be wrapped up Friday. I'm afraid Leach may feel he now has a little for leverage with Pitta's injury and reports that Juice might not be physically strong enough yet to handle FB duties.

yea, but it sounds like he's not getting a better deal from any other team than the one the Ravens were going to give him, before those things came into play.

Yeah...I don't think he got offered anything more than the vet minimum. Given that fact, I'm somewhat surprised and concerned that this isn't a done deal yet.

Leach is solid, and I hate seeing FBs being dimished in the league, but that's why he could get a better deal anywhere else. I don't see how Pitta gives him any leverage though...he's gonna play for what BAL is willing to pay him.

The Ravens will now need to revise what they are doing on offense. Certain players will have redefined roles. Leach will enable the Ravens to be able to do this much more effectively.

Well...Leach is apparently going through workout with Ravens right now. If all goes well, will be signed shortly.

If they sign leach, the FB the thought was going to replace Leach could turn into a TE. Everything out of camp suggests he is a better TE than FB. Juszczyk did play TE in college and is known for his hands.
