Gundy, Gruden, and Strong have all said no. Mora turned down an interview. Fedora and Cutcliffe have stated they are staying at their school. Butch Jones is now at Colorado.
That leaves:
Bo Pelini - i doubt he leaves
Gary Patterson - i doubt he leaves
Dan Mullen - i doubt he leaves, but he could
Phil Fulmer
Tommy Tuberville

Out of all the candidates, I actually want Phil Fulmer back. I wanted either Gruden, Stanford's coach, or a big hire. I don't consider any of those names to be better than a re-energized Fulmer with the right staff. I think Phil Fulmer would have an energy in him we haven't seen since the early 1990s if he returned.

I am almost positive that it's stipulated in his contract that he is in no way allowed to reach out to schools and can only speak to them if they reach out to the AD and ask for permission and there are terms agreed upon regarding the nature of the contact.

So basically the whole premise of that "article" (if you want to call it that) is bullshit.

I didn't read it though. I won't give hit whores what they want.

I don't know, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it. Let's say NU gets blown out in a bowl game......with a new AD, he's almost assuredly going to want to bring in his own guy. Pelini probably is seeing the writing on the wall......I doubt he has ANY guarantees that's he's going to be the coach longterm.
