It's an unofficial visit but we did get the tickets from an invite from Mr. Newsome. :smile:

With numbers like those (even a 40.3 P avg) he could compete with upperclassman on our team now. I think I speak for alot on here when saying we hope he wears O&M. Tell him congrats on the record too from Hokie Nation!

Oh he wants to wear the orange and maroon, believe me! We even have joked about covering up the "DE" on Dechristopher's jersey to see how his would look! haha. Thank you for your kind words. He is going to work really hard this off season to be even stronger for his senior year to get him in top form for college.

+2!! Hope to see him breaking records in Lane. Beamer (and most college coaches for that matter) typically don't give out alot of schollies for kickers and punters but will make an exception for a great HS prospect (see C. Journell). I think we will offer this kid at some point. He would possibly have to wait his turn for a year but if he is consistently good, would likely be a starter early..Congrats on your son's record kickermom, that's quite an accomplishment, and one he may hold for a LONG time!!

No surprise there, however he does not fit their mold, Oregon goes after smaller, faster QBs that can run (primarily) and throw when needed, Bucky is the opposite, I wouldn't worry about them as much as the Zima drinkers

I've never been in awe of a video of a kid kicking FGs but I really want him kicking for us. Very impressive. He has a big future.

The 2nd and 3rd from the end looked to be in the 40-45 range @ least.

He had a phenominal year, with sacks, a couple pick six TDs and numerous physical tackles. a rising star following in the footsteps of the vandyke brothers. leaning VT if they offer! he and Devin Vandyke led a highly rated stallion Defense. 6 ft 4 185 and built very much like VT safety Ronnie vandyke. Very lean muscular kid with plenty of room to fillout his frame..

good. its good that we are working this school's pipeline for a few reasons. 1, it seems they are putting out some good d1 talent as of late, and 2, they run a similar defense to what we have at tech which should help defensive players from there transition more smoothly.

thats good to hear, i wonder if having stiney back on the OL is having an impact on the type of OL we want to recruit?
