He comes from the same high school as the Jeffereys (Ashlon and his brother). he is big and a long strider. he looks like Justin Harper in his flims.

Awesome. I always thought Harper was a very underrated receiver.

My only knock to Irick is he doesn't seem to attack the ball at it's highest point. Could be under thrown balls by his QB but I would have liked to have seen more jump balls. I don't doubt he has the potential being 6'3 and having long arms, just would have like to have seen it.

Also, he's not very fast and because of that has trouble breaking tackles.

Excellent! So, that means one or more of Irick, Tookes, Manning, and Colemen could be coming in early.

I wonder if Dr. Ballein will be able to count all of those players against 2011 along with Benedict? I guess that's why they pay him the big bucks!

Yes. We only brought in 19 last year and 2 greyshirts, so we can add up to 4. Manning and Coleman are locks to EE. Tookes and Irick are likely as well. And as I mentioned, if nobody declares early, we are still under by 31 total after this years crop gradumicates.

Interesting that the free Ri(mumble, mumble) recruiting board for Tech doesn't have McLaughlin, Pyke, or the 2nd OT who got an offer out of camp...unless one of those two guys is being counted as the 2nd OT.
