WR Diggs

OL McLaughlin

of that list ima say we get Kirven, Caleb, Harris, and Pyke if we can get him to visit. I think we stand a very good shot with Gurley and DIggs.

You know, I hadn't really thought about that. I am not sure but it can't help.

Also, Chris Brown did NOT make the trip (answering my own question)

What do you all think the effects of the J. Lewis transfer will have on our chances with J.Jones?

They come from the same city, but different high schools. Lewis attended Bishop Kearney (Class DD - 256 students), while Jones is currently attending Aquinas Institute (Class A - 519 students). Both schools play a 7-game schedule unless they end up in the play-offs.

Just my opinion, but it's an awfully big jump going from small-town, small-school football to an FBS school that demands almost 100% of your time.

If I'm guessing correctly, Dr. Ballein will count the 3 early arrivals against the 2011 Class, and the 3 preps/greyshirts against the 2013 Class. That leaves 19 to arrive on time in Aug-Sep 2012. So, if it all works out as described, that means we have about 6 slots left to fill for 2012.

Please keep in mind that this class is EXTREMELY fluid in nature...the final numbers won't be clear until Signing Day 2012, and even then there may be additional changes.

hope we can hang onto him too, but if he does jump ship, i hope he does it sooner rather than later. we are still in for diggs, caleb and eugene lewis, so at least we have options if he does leave at wide receiver.
