Uh, it's precisely why. The Vikes got down big early and had to throw it all the time, which took AD out of the game.
He did more on the first drive tonight than the whole game at home vs Seattle, so I'm not buying that as the whole excuse. He got stuffed, period. The whole Minn O got stuffed to the tune of 125 yards, which is the lowest output of any team all season.

Kind of tough to run the ball when your defense gives up 21 points in the first half and your QB looks lost.
Dude, it was only 14-0 until just before the half when Seattle got a pick and quick score. It's not like it was 21-0 after a quarter. You're the #1 rushing team in the league and have the league's leading rusher and you abandon the run in the 2nd quarter??

A one dimensional offense and a banged up D. Not looking good.

AD got 5 touches in the 1st half and 3 touches in the 2nd half against Seattle. I'm not sure what more he could've done with the limited carries.

You honestly think it would have mattered? That just wasn't our game. Short of him breaking 3 big ones, which he isn't going to do against your defense when it's keying in on him, that game was not going to be competitive.

Calais Campbell has become a much better player than I ever thought he would he.

No, because you don't beat the better teams in the league with a one dimensional O, which is what the Vikings have. Hard to understand how they got to 8-3.

The only person in the NFL that could catch John Brown at full speed is one of our other WR's... rookie JJ Nelson.

The Seattle game was last week. Let's move on. I know Seahawk fans are acting like it represents their entire season, which is cute, but we got the most exciting team in the NFL playing right now. More Cardinal talk please.
