It's that time of year again. Who figured they'd be 14-2 and fighting for the top seed at this point in the year? Wild way to start a fresh year!

Will Sam Darnold decision got easier, I wonder if he tanked his trade value as well

For 2025

1. What to do with Darnold (I think the decision just got easier)
2. Upgrade interior OL, DT, and CB
3. Upgrade RB

pretty simple really

I wonder what the Vikes could have received in a trade.

Being serious, I wouldn't have traded KOC unless he wanted out.

I think he's a very good coach, I'm on the KOC bandwagon despite his 0-2 playoff mark

I like him too, I would like to see a better run game, so the offense is more balanced.

Didn't watch a lot of JJ, don't know if he minds leaving the pocket and picking up some tough yards.

interior OL and run game needs to be improved, no doubt there

not sure if it's scheme, design, personnel, probably combination of all three

Looks like they're going to let Darnold walk. I'm cool with that, because I just don't see him as a guy to get the team through the playoffs. However, I wish they'd franchise tag him and then do a trade and sign type of deal to another team.

They probably won't do that because it's panned as dishonorable to franchise tag a guy who might not get another shot at an insane payday, but some team would agree to a trade and extention signing deal. Don't care if it costed his new team draft capital either, because he wouldn't be in position to get a massive payday right now if it weren't for the Vikes and KOC reviving his career that went rough for him from the start. But it makes no sense to me to just let him walk scott free when they could pull a 1st rounder and more for him.

Agreed. I always like Stafford, and was happy to see him get a title with the Rams. There was a time when I would have loved for the Vikes to have him. I don't want to see them trade draft picks for a 37 year old QB, though. Especially when it sounds like it would probably take a decent amount to do it.

Might be a non-issue, though. Apparently he privately met with Tom Brady who wants to bring him to the Raiders. I say they can have him and good luck to him.
