Jordan Addison, WR from USC at #23.

I honestly don't follow college football much so I don't know a ton about these new guys coming out of the draft. That said, I guess I'm alright with this from a position standpoint even though it doesn't really look on the surface like we needed another WR. Because I do not miss the days when we only had Harvin as a legit high end WR option, or when we were hoping for guys like Cordarelle Patterson and Laquon Treadwell to step up, even though both were huge 1st round busts lol.

So far, I like the draft. An undersized receiver with average speed and an undersized CB.

and I love their philosophy of quantity over quality.

I think Addison is great compliment to jj and db fits flores scheme really well.

So, how is everyone feeling about the upcoming season?

I feel pretty good about season, I think we'll have a worse record but still be better team. What I'm looking for:

More consistent offense: The offense and Kirk had a lot of clutch moments last year, I don't think we can rely on the comebacks again. Too many negative run plans and 2nd and longs and too many times offense went to sleep in the third quarter.

Defense: Our problems extended beyond the DC, but lets be honest, he was a problem. You can't give 10 yard cushions on 3rd and 6. I expect Flores to bring a new attitude to the defense, I still expect them to bottom half defense, but if we can get into 18-22 range instead of 31-32 range, it'll be good sign.

Special Teams-I'm still not a greg joseph fan, but many this is year he gets consistent

Rookies: We need more contribution from last years class this year and we can't go another year of rookies not helping current team. If we have back to back empty drafts, I'm going to really start questioning Kwesi (I haven't given up on last years players, but they didn't contribute enough)

I'm optimistic we can repeat as division champs, but I don't see this as a SB team. I have them at 9-11 wins

So, how is everyone feeling about the upcoming season?

Oddly enough, I feel better with all the 'experts' doubting us.

If Addison gets into the system, then I could see our offense getting more explosive, and KOC and Kirk getting better together.

I don't believe the hype with Goff and the Lions, and I think the Bears and Pack are pretty weak, so I'm fully expecting another division title.
