I don't agree - if GB wanted it so badly, they wouldn't've spotted the Vikes 14.

Don't get me wrong - there is no excuse for a team to ever play as lazy as GB did yesterday [early].

The thing is MN played very well, & deserved to win.
To me GB didn't respect their opponent and got what they deserved.

As far as I can tell next week is a "coin flip".
If the Vikes have the mindset MISK described: "Let Ponder air it out - doesn't matter if GB stops AP", they will get their collective butts kicked.
If GB figures "we beat 'em at Lambeau already" [which I think was their problem yesterday], they will lose.

:spit::pound:... Yeah, it didn't have anything to do with Winfield leaving before halftime.
The Pack knew who they were playing, they just played them 5 weeks ago and could have lost that one.
That's absurd if you think they weren't ready to go when the clock started.
But that was just a divisional regular season game, next week we'll see if they can make waves.

And the Vikings win was inevitable?

Do you think the Vikes couldn't have lost this one?

That's why I'm calling it a toss-up.

So JR . . .

Gonna get tickets to the game? It's only about a 5 - 6 hour drive.

A real Vikings fan would. :fencing:

['course I don't have tickets either]

But, you called it a toss up only after saying the Pack were lazy and didn't realize they were playing a football game yet... I'm saying they knew the Vikes could go up and down the field on them, because they did it last time. They also held Pack offense as good as can be expected in Lambeau. So my post was just stating that the Pack knew what to expect.

Last Sunday the Vikes could have lost as easily as they won, who knew it actually would be a shootout..of sorts? But like I posted before, it was just regular season, now we'll see if Ponder can string together some real wins under pressure.

And no, sadly I won't be there...But I'm sure they'll hear me from home. lol

It does suck that the NFC Norse loses a team first round though.

Playoff ticket is punched. Anything can happen now.

Time to let MVPeterson run all over em.

Ponder seems to be figuring it out and could surprise a lot of people this weekend (including myself).

Yeah, JR - whoever heard of a shoot-out between a QB & a RB?
Wierd.
I still say AP should be MVP.
(yet, I can't shake the feeling it'll be P Manning - make me sick)

You're probably right about Manning getting MVP.

I think AP deserves it PC, just don't think it'll go to a RB.

I am still hoping Ponder makes a big game for himself. AP will be AP.

Hopefully the Pack will stop winning playoff games at home starting tomorrow. :p
