I agree, but it wasn't a win or go home yesterday is all I'm saying. Plus, the playoff's always add a little more pressure and it's his first one at that. I'm not saying he can't handle it, just that it's something to think about.

Yes, the Vikes did have that mindset, but GB didn't. Also, playing to get to the playoffs and playing in the playoffs are 2 different things. During the regular season, that still had the rest of the season (except for yesterday). It's a whole new mindset. They reached their goal of getting to the playoffs, now you have to start a whole new goal.

Yes, the packers wanted it badly, but it wasn't a most win for them.

Again, I'm just saying this is stuff to think about. Ponder could handle this with ease, but it's his first playoff and he's going to have some butterflies in his stomach. It doesn't matter if the game yesterday was a win or go home because this is the playoffs and that brings a whole new level of what if's to think about and ponder.

I hear what you're saying, but the butterflies are typically gone after the first hit..lol
I like the Vikes chances at Lambeau.

Ponder and the Vikes have had that mindset since the Packer game at Lambeau.
They pretty much have been playing playoff type scenarios the last 4 games to get that playoff spot.
And the Packers wanted that game badly.
I don't agree - if GB wanted it so badly, they wouldn't've spotted the Vikes 14.

Don't get me wrong - there is no excuse for a team to ever play as lazy as GB did yesterday [early].

The thing is MN played very well, & deserved to win.
To me GB didn't respect their opponent and got what they deserved.

As far as I can tell next week is a "coin flip".
If the Vikes have the mindset MISK described: "Let Ponder air it out - doesn't matter if GB stops AP", they will get their collective butts kicked.
If GB figures "we beat 'em at Lambeau already" [which I think was their problem yesterday], they will lose.
