So was Vandy the only SEC team that had to cancel OOC contracts due to the SEC schedule?
I'm curious that as a conference, the SEC couldn't find a way to let their representative schools honor their previous OOC commitments and schedule around them.
Why would anyone enter a future contract with an SEC school if their head offices won't take them into consideration?
Link to the contracts?
I would say leaving 2 teams from the same conference less than a year to find opponents a situation of scrambling. You think they're sitting on their thumbs right now or scanning schedules and making phone calls?
Those open dates will probably have to be filled with FCS teams of which Vandy and the SEC were sure to preserve.
Back to the original question...Is Vandy the only SEC school required to cancel contracts by this late scheduling?
OSU lucked out on this one.
