I'd kinda rather keep the scholly than give it to a JUCO. I mean its not like we're going to be a great team next year even with Buzz. I'd rather the spot go to a 4 year guy that we can develop. But Buzz has done a lot with JUCOs before so I'll just have to get use to that strategy.

BTW, has anyone heard if Isaiah Ford still intends to walk on? I haven't read anything either way since the coaching change was made.

I think Will Johnston got a scholarship before the 2013-2014 season.

He did but I figured that was a year by year thing and would not be renewed this year.

Yeah, this is probably a case of addition by subtraction. It is kinda hard to get worked up when a non-Buzz 2* guy is transferring out. This looks like a win-win for both parties-- Hokies get another scholarship to maintain the offers to Henry or Atwood or both or whoever. And Kirby gets to go someplace where he's being recruited and probably get more playing time.

Not sure I want Malek Harris....he's had a lot of character issues. Bball gurus on twitter seem to think he's he'll stay closer to home than Blacksburg.

Repeats are those teams who are played twice (home and away) only in a given season. So VT gets Cuse and FSU twice next season in addition to UVA and Miami who we play twice every season. In 2015-16 VT plays UVA, Miami, WF and Pitt twice.
