Yup, but I think Ghana will win. Portugal tied the US but acted very defeated at the end...

I'd like to be able to trust the odds and relax but I can just see Germany throttling us 3-0 and we get left out.

People are too scared of big and bad Germany based on one game against Portugal who were down to 10 men and also Germany got a PK in that game? If the PK doesn't get called and Pepe isn't a clown, they probably wouldn't have scored more than 2.

3-2 would do just fine, means ghana has a lot of scoring to do. Portugal would have no shot.

One of the rules of WC. Don't lose by 4+ goals in a group game. You're pretty much screwed. End of story.

Yeah the only way you aren't screwed is if you win the other 2 games. Portugal only legit chance of advancing was to beat both the US & Ghana which would've gotten them out the group. If you guys notice they almost had no emotion after they tied the game because they know the situation. I guaranteed if they only had a -1 GD as Ghana do, you would've seen much more celebration from them on that goal.

Howard... I agree he would be 39. But Dempsey would only be 35 and may have somethin' left in the tank.

bad timing...they hadn't posted the time yet, otherwise the slow walk was right move. if bradley wouldn't have given the ball away in the middle it would have been fine...

Zusi had a few bad touches and a couple poor corners as well as the slow walk off that added stoppage time, however Bradley can't give the ball away like that in the middle. You are taught at every level beyond 8 years old in the final minute to hit any touch 40 yards downfield or out of play.

USA seems to have developed into a good pipeline of goalie talent, for sure. Both those guys have been money for USMNT, but we got lots of other potential great ones in the pipeline right now. MLS is helping a lot as well.

And that shot came out of almost nowhere. Broken corner kick, he traps, one touches and blasts it. The goalie didn't really move so I initially thought he missed it. That bend is insane.
