In 1974 only 100,000 or so children and teens played the sport. Now in 2014 over 3 million children and teens play. So don't give me that bullshit that no one cares

Agree 100% regarding the urgency and hustle. USA still does not have the technical skills with their players, so they need that hustle and urgency and they did not play with that until extra time.

I didn't say no one cares, I said majority. 3 million is a drop in the bucket when you realize that there are 60 million 5-19 year olds in the US.

MLS is pretty mediocre in general, but if you guys are looking for some half way decent soccer in the US after the World Cup, look no further than the Sounders

Dempsey, Yedlin, Martins, etc. + the best soccer fans in the league + best soccer atmosphere in the league

I'm disappointed, but very proud of the effort by this team. USA will be back and stronger than ever. Soccer is not going to go away, it's only going to take off from here.
