Michigan is likely to be underrated. 2020 is most definitely their year! I'd have them at #3 or #4. (I've never made this prediction before, so don't do a search for it. Just believe me and don't look it up)
I think it's reversed. Especially in a down ACC. Beating Clemson may eliminate the ACC altogether, assuming Clemson wins the ACC. Plus I think there's a better chance Wisconsin loses multiple games next year than Clemson.
It would have been no different than Oregon this year had they not lost to Arizona State.
Looking through the committees' lenses I think losing to a 2/3 loss Wisconsin, and beating a 1 loss Clemson(which is towards the end of the year), is better than beating a 3/4 loss Wisconsin and losing to an undefeated Clemson. At that point there are two teams eliminated (Wisconsin and Clemson) as opposed to just 1(Wisconsin).
With everything they're losing, I don't know how you can put Clemson #1. They're potentially going to lose every key piece on both sides of the ball outside of Lawrence and Ross, including replacing 4/5 starting O-linemen.
I agree with you about LSU, but Clemson, Alabama, and Ohio State just reload. So many top recruiting classes. Damn you guys!

As long as Harbaugh is your coach, I don't see Michigan EVER breaking the Top Ten. Minnesota is going to beat them in 2020. lol
Not with Clemson.
The 2020 class is #1 per 247, but that is only Dabo's second Top 10 class in his 10 years.
The one other Top 10 class was #7.
.
Well, I'll accept your apology in 2023 after Harbaugh's third straight national title win. He'll then leave the University for the NFL, where he will take over the Lions and win most of the remaining SB's in the 2020's.
Nothing can stop it now...so just enjoy the ride.
Curious to see what rankings you're looking at

But they also has been averaging high stars even when not a "top" class. Checking average stars per rivals.com , 2016 (6th), 2017 (4th), 2018 (3rd).Not with Clemson.

If you think that Wisconsin can beat you AND have 2-3 losses, you are badly mistaken. They have a stout schedule, but ND is still the best team on that schedule.
If THAT happens, I will absolutely will apologize to you, and I'll frigging, I don't know, redo your driveway or something. lol Basically, that WON'T happen!!!
I thought their best recruiting class so far was ranked #9?
I can see a real possibility of Wisconsin beating ND and then lose to a Minnesota and/or Michigan and then Michigan in the B1GCG. There's your 2 losses. Plus, maybe there's another upset like Illinois next year.
No, but they've had at least 4 top 10 classes
