Can't wait for the prime time, not C team commentators to talk shit about OSU scheduling army, unlv, and getting their asses kicked by Oklahoma out of conference. Because that'll happen, right?
I'm too old to be staying up for that shit every weekend. Dinner at Denny's starts at 3:30pm.Poor little guys only get 5 hours of sleep when they have to play a night game.
Night games are the best if you have a shitty stadium.Night games are the best. Players complaining about getting home at 5am on Sunday need to toughen up. I suspect this is more Urban trying to get less night games on the road because it usually means a more intense stadium atmosphere.
Gonna be hard when TV rights and scheduling are the main factor - and TV brings in the big $$
Has nothing to do with the stadium, but being able to tailgate all day and then have a boisterous night crowd.Night games are the best if you have a shitty stadium.
This is what UW fans are getting fvcked out of. I've personally never arrived to Husky Stadium anyway other than by boat.

Washington games used to normally kick off around 12:30 / 1:30pm. A nice trip across the lake to the stadium, get your grub on in your boat and go in and watch the game while checking out the view. Old people, young people including children, parents and students alike enjoy this Washington Huskies game day experience.

Obviously you haven't done much boating on Lake Washington during the fall and winter. You're talking hundreds of boats trying to make their way out of the bay after the game. I've seen a 24+' go down on her way back after going into the rollers sideways. That lake is well over 200' deep in some places including the backside of Mercer Island where she goes around 250'. The wind comes right off the top of the mountains. It's even worse when its snowing. They don't teach y'all how to drive boats at night in Washington?
How many boating accidents happen from DUI's? Seems like it could be unsafeThis is what UW fans are getting fvcked out of. I've personally never arrived to Husky Stadium anyway other than by boat.
Not so much since the early 90's when they turned into dickheads about it. Used to be they didn't give a shit. You could hit a few of the bars on the lake starting @ 6am (most all those bars have docks you can pull up to) and then pull into the bay about 30 min. before game time so you could get your dingy into shore and make it inside the stadium before kickoff. Now you can't even pull your dingy in since the Tyee Club got all anal about drunk boaters and insurance. How many boating accidents happen from DUI's? Seems like it could be unsafe

Washington away games don't affect sailgating at Husky Stadium. It does affect the home games and only one home conference game is being played at that stadium this year tmk.Meh...talk to me when you are caught in a severe thunderstorm on Lake Marion. It's shallow so the slightest breeze creates a decent chop, and due to WWII the flooded it before clearing all the timber. Hurricane Hugo passed through and snapped most of the timber off at the waterline so there's tens of thousands of stumps hiding just below the surface.
But I don't get all the whining about night games. Tomorrow night Clemson is playing it's 14th straight game away from home at night.
So you are pushing to be more lenient on drunk boaters. That just makes you an asshole. Every year I hear about people and know people who lose loved ones to people being out on their boats and being crashed into by dumbasses that are sauced. Are you pissed off that cops enforce the laws for drunk drivers in cars? Not so much since the early 90's when they turned into dickheads about it. Used to be they didn't give a shit.
