b/c he has no HC exp. and is not a popular young name around HC circles like a Johnson or MacDonald. IS he a better D Coordinator than Macdonald or Quinn? IMO its a no.

I think that they're pretty much equal, especially in today's NFL where defense isn't allowed to be played as it should be. If you're looking for better than any of these guys, I posted his profile just now, but I think that he's being blackballed in terms of getting another head coaching job. (Brian Flores)

yes Flores is a good candidate. IF we can get him to run our defense if we hire Johnson that would be great.

To get him they would have to promote him to assistant head coach-defense, he already holds the title of DC with the Vikings. That said, he would be the leading candidate for an HCing gig if not for...

Was Mike Tomlin and did he have HC experience? I was the same way but I don’t know if being a good HC has anything to do with being a good coordinator now.

Sadly, he will be remembered for the guy who sued the NFL. Those dudes are not letting him back in. (HC) I'm almost certain that memo was sent out by Goodell to owners.

Slowik, Johnson and McDonald have performed well, and probably have another gear as HC. Just my opinion but i don't see that with Quinn and Morris. Slowik especially has been impressive....other than Tunsil and Nico....i couldn't tell you a texan to save my life. And now these unheard guys knocked off the Browns

Quinn has been to Super Bowls HC and DC. I wouldn't put him in the same realm as Morris. agree with your top 3

agree. KS was the issue there IMO. Quinn has had success in Seattle as DC. Its proven that he can build a defense everywhere he goes
