Was thinking about if Ben gets the job do they hire Weaver to be the DC since they are bringing him in for a HC interview.

Weaver is currently the D Line coach in Baltimore, so it would be a promotion.

So I did a little digging and found this.
Not the total picture of who he is as a coach but it is a chapter that can't be ignored.

If he can get a solid OC, he will be an excellent coach for us or somebody.

Im out on Weaver. Look at 2020 on his resume and then look at what the Texans were ranked that year

If Macdonald shuts down the chiefs...that has to make some waves with teams looking to hire.

Seems like the teams that are open are waiting for the lions and ravens to get out of the playoffs. Doesn't seem like the chiefs or 49ers have any interested parties at this time.

If he completely shuts down Mahomes, that would certainly add a wrinkle to this search.

Brought in Zorn to be the QB coach and made him HC.

Wanted Jon and had to settle for Jay.
