Hell I don't know!

If money is a concern for a guy like this, I would still bring him in and interview him, see if this is the correct fit, then you get your boosters involved and any guy looking to take a program from the ground up ain't going to be asking for millions, he will take what you can give him and go to work!

What are your thoughts on the Sanchez firing? 5 years. A 19-40 record. Never won more than 5 games in a season.

If the people that run UNLV want the program to get going in the right direction they gotta spend the money to bring in a coach that's had some kinda coaching success. Because it would be a shame to see the Rebels move into their new home with a middle of the road (or worse) coach that's done nothing.
Honestly I thought they would give him a shot with all the new facilities. But.... he sucked so not mad at it. The real concern is who the hell are they going to bring in? Maybe the new stadium and facilities are attractive to a better coach. We will see.

I suggested looking at Bo Pelini. He had success at Nebraska. Was talking to Peter Gonzintite about this earlier today. His concern is could UNLV afford him.

I don't even know if he would be interested to be honest. He has the hometown thing working for him right now but who knows. I am guessing there isn't a ton of money to spend so who knows who they could be looking at for the job. I think the new facilities are going to help with hiring a coach and recruiting. There is opportunity for UNLV football to take a step up and stop sucking so bad.

I just want the hoops program (and football) to get going in the right direction. I'm still disgusted at how quickly Rice destroyed what Kruger built though. To this day I still say the school fucked-up big time by not offereing the job to Theus or Augmon.

Will you be watching the game tonight? Hopefully the Runnin' Rebels can get a road win at Fresno.

They should have beaten them easily, but they won in OT

They only run 7 or 8 guys too, so if they go into OT, they are gassed.

Watching the game the other night the announcers said the Runnin' Rebels play no freshmen, made it seem like there's none on the team. But as of right now UNLV's '20 recruiting class is in the top 15.

I think that is also in part due to the number of recruits, not just quality.

One of the things I miss the most about living in the Vegas area are Runnin' Rebels games at the T&M. If everything goes as planned I'll be back there in a a couple of years. But there's no doubt I'm gonna return.

@Peter Gozintite

Now that I got Vegas on mind started things of some things when I lived out there. The gamling bug never got me. Found gambling to be a big waste of money. But my favorite game was Cops & Donuts. Only place I ever saw it was at Green Valley Ranch casino.

I also miss camping at Mount Charleston on the weekends to get away from the summer heat for a few days.

I did and was very impressed. Looks like they are getting comfortable in TJ's schemes and enjoy the fast paced tempo.

It was nice to see Marvin Coleman get that triple double. And dammit! Back to back games only one bucket away from 100.
