Ok...I'll do it. But I'll need these things:
1. A suite at least halfway up in the Bellagio with complimentary room service. IT MUST FACE THE POOL AREA.
2. $1.825 million annual salary not including $5k per week "walking around" money.
3. Company car. Must be new and have anti-lock brakes.
4. 10+ room home in the Henderson area close to or on Lake Mead. Yes it needs to have a pool.
5. 7 pair Khaki slacks.
6. A whistle.
7. A clipboard.
8. A visor with team logo emblazened on the front.

UNLV is moving in the right direction from a facility and environment standpoint. Even with a good hire they wont be world beaters in the next few years, but soil is fertile to get to the next level. Ya I typed "fertile".

No shit, Chad Morris probably wouldn't be a bad hire. He is a good offensive mind, and he did a solid job at SMU, just think he's the type of coach that can do well at a smaller job, but isn't cut out for a P5 job(like Jim McElwain who was excellent at Colorado State, sucked at Florida and in his first year at CMU took them from 1-11 last season to 8-4 and playing for the MAC championship)

I am not delusional about the university, and am well aware of their shit past and program. I do think that they will have recruiting power that they have never had before with both new facilities. I dont even know who is available, but keep in mind they probably wont be spending a ton of money.

Who could you see taking a shot at the job, and bringing this never proud program, to winning the MWC?

Any big names are unrealistic. Even guys like Shiano or McElwain I can't see taking the job because of the money. Best bet is to try and get an up and coming coach imo.
