I’m excited about a Vandy QB to erase the memories of the last one.As opposed to Brett Rypien - Riley Neal - is a mobile QB who can extend the play. Therefore, he makes sense as a system backup to Lock and his game. He has a rocket arm, but Vandy's oline was totally inept and Neal didn't launch many throws downfield - and basically Neal was guilty of not looking down field.
It appears the coaching staff is pretty unhappy with the WR position behind Sutton. There will be some competition at WR in training camp.
