A rare instance when the remake was a lot better than the original. It is rated R, unlike the kid version we all remembered starring Sylvester Stallone back in 1993. Definitely a must watch if you're into action movies.

State of Grace.

There's a bar around the block from where I work (The Olde Town Tavern) that they shot scenes from State of Grace in. Right before St Patricks day a buddy and I go in, have a drink and then watch the movie. Most under rated movie of all time.

Yesterday I was in a meeting with five other department heads in my company about optimizing workflow.



Steve: "So you receive the printed documents and deliver them to Stephanie?"
Molly: "Yes."
Steve: "Do you review the printed docs?"
Molly: "No"
Steve: "Stephanie, when you receive the printed docs, do you review them?"
Stephanie: "No"
Steve: "So then I have to ask, do they need to be printed at all?"
Me: "This sounds a lot like 'Office Space'."
<everyone laughs>



I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't like that movie and I don't think I've ever met anyone between the ages of 25 and 55 who has never seen it. It's universally loved by all - an extreme rarity. That given, it should be considered one of the greatest movies of all time.

lel at bumping my own post, but Redford, Sidney Poitier, Ben Kingsley, Dan Aykroyd, River Phoenix...James Earl jones....some pretty good names in a flick that no one ever talks about.
