They were on their way back to playing well then disaster struck the key player from the trade. Devs ended up losing the game and set the stage for the Flyers walkover in the playoffs.

Some people find all facets of the game entertaining. Also, you're exaggerating by saying the Devils don't try to score at all.

Hit to the head
worst hockey decision given the circumstances

I honestly think the hit was intent to injure. Carter never hits people and he all of a sudden hits in that situation. The hit did not help out the play, seeing as how Salmela scored. If Carter just did a poke check or even lazily went for the puck there would have been no goal.

As I recall Mike Richards wasn't penalized for his hit on Marc Savard either. It was the beginning of possibly the end for Savard & the Officials didn't do a damn thing.

I get emails all the time for the lower bowl 50 seats. That's not outrageous IMO.

$50 for lower bowl?? That's insanely cheap. I pay $85 per ticket for upper bowl when I go see the Devils here in Pittsburgh and that's my friend's discounted season ticket price. I was paying over $100 for lower bowl from another friend and that was his season ticket price.

The Pru is so steep that there aren't really bad seats. the upper deck sides at MSG are much farther away IMO. I think the Devils do 12 college nights a year or something close to that. Usually 6 before xmas and 6 after. Sure, you can't sit in the lower deck middle at a discount, but if I could have any seats in the building (besides a luxury box) it would be top deck first row center ice.
