Absolutely. The SEC fans that used to say the Big 12 didn't have any defenses are getting ready to find out how effective these offenses can be if they haven't already with ATM and Mizzou. All you need is a decent qb. He doesn't even have to be great, just decent.

Still, how do you explain how once-lowly TAMU curb-stomped, raped, and left for dead what was a pretty good Oklahoma team about a year ago?

Wasn't OU supposedly a mighty Big-12 team fully prepared to face an alleged former pathetic Big-12 bottom-feeder?

The aggy talk is just us talking shit. Obviously they had a pretty good player the last couple years who changed their team along with a new coach. That doesn't really change the fact that the spread is taking over the SEC and those 14-10 games are gonna be fewer and fewer. You will now see that defense is harder to play on a week to week basis. Sometimes you will get the better of them and sometimes you won't. What you will find out though is the bowl layoff kills the timing of an uptempo passing offense. Good luck with that if your team chooses that route. I prefer a running based spread.

That was an average OU team Aggy faced. That OU team was not pretty good. You forget that OU team already had 2 losses going into the Cotton Bowl game and Baylor, Okie jr and WVU had brutally raped that OU defense far worse than what Aggy did. OU was an ass hair away from 5 losses that year. Their luck ran out against Aggy.

WVU did stomp all over that defense, but A&M put up almost 200 more yards than both Baylor and OSU.

I think lost in all this is that LSU has the game plan in place to show how to slow down spread teams. They have done it over and over and over again. Problem is, it isn't scheme, it's matching athletes on the outside and pressing them. Not many teams can do that and not get burned.

Yeah it helps that you have a former Big 12 coach on your team.

Is this sarcasm or do you really think Les Miles time at Oklahoma St is the reason they defend it so well? I'm not saying you are wrong, just trying to understand your point.
